I am looking for a supplier of gas springs. Currently need a pair for a SonnenBraune 840 (1998). Current supplier is out and SonnenBraune does not have - any help would be appreciated

Sunrite 800-380-8266 is it an 840 or 844?

any word on how to replace these things? they don't seen to pop on and off very easy.

No clip on the ball socket?

that came off but i'm not sure how much pulling it should require. also should the bed be open or closed.

It might take a little prying with a screwdriver. Best with the canopy open.

Yeah you need to open the lid as high as you can to take the pressure off.
