More than 1.63 amps going thru the wire.

What is the fuse for, sounds like possibly you timer system at that amperage? Never worked on one. But normally too many amps or short....

Re: help . what causes fuses to

Pull out the wiring diagram for the bed and see what that fuse feeds
What ever is on that circuit is drawing to much amperage could be a wire shorted to ground or the device that fuse feeds power to
Should not be hard to determine what the problem is by disconnecting components or wires from the last thing fed by that fuse going back to the fuse
Or install a circuit breaker in line and measure amperage draw

Re: help . what causes fuses to

Thanks -
It is the fuse that controls all the lamps .

Ergoline Service told me to switch my circuit boards with another bed. See if it is the board or something else.

If its not the board, then it is probably a shorted wire or ballast like Sundude said.

I'll give it a try.
