Rep Power: 0 | tmax problem, removed a bed Can anyone hlep? I am getting a new bed which requires an electriian to upgrade power. So we took out the underused bed from room 10 this weekend, room will be vacant for about 10 days. However didn't think about Tmax losing the daisy chain. I pushed back in just bllast trayto room 10, reconnected the tmax from room 9 and 11. TMax in room 11 keeps saying error and the alarm sounds until we remove the power. We plug back in, all looks ok until we push on/off and it says error again. It is only a temp thing but it is just getting busy again!! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: tmax problem, removed a bed OK, remove a bed and you have a broken link, two ends in room 10 which dont connect to each other. I thought I was smart by pushing back in the ballast tray which has a outlet for 2 tmax connectors. room 9s end plugs in, and room 11s end plugs in to form a link or daisy chain, or a connection. But it didn't work, so how do I connect room 11 back to the manager pro? rooms 1 though 9 work normally |

Rep Power: 23 | Re: tmax problem, removed a bed Sounds like the bed had a built-in timer, and no separate room 3-A was used. Temporarily, run a cable from room 9 directly to room 11. Turn off, and then power up the Manager PRO and it will skip #10, as each 3A (or Built-in timer, as it sounds like you have) has the address programmed into it. when you put the new bed in, make sure it is programmed for the #10 position, re-boot the manager again, and you should be fine. I believe ADI, and many disty's will have a coupling device that could do the same thing with the two cables left stranded in room #10 also. |
