An other salon in town has the solarsphere 240 watt unit and they use 180/200 watt cosmo vhr bulbs.. I found it very strange. Even so, the unit was even nice with those lower wattage bulbs.. oh and he thinks he is slick making max expo. 5 minutes!!

Bulb wattage is determined by the ballast not the bulb.
