Rep Power: 0 | Australian Gold Laser SprayTan..?? Is anyone here familiar with this system, my wife bought it for our Salon, (it's still in the box) I was just wondering about the pros and cons, does it do a good job, and also, what kind of backdrop would you need in the room in case of overspray? Here is a link to the site: www.australiangold.com/laser_spraytans/about.asp Thanks! Chuck |

Rep Power: 103 | Re: Australian Gold Laser SprayTan..?? I have never used it, but the laser seem like a gimmick to me. It isn't that hard to get it right without the laser. Probably will do a fine job, just paid more than you needed to. It isn't doing you any good in the box. Get it out and start playing with it.

Rep Power: 19 | Re: Australian Gold Laser SprayTan..?? lets see what I can say without getting zapped. I have sold this system before. We no longer carry it. (as a matter of fact I have several in storage that I can't seem to get rid of) No I am not trying to sell them here, I am using them as replacement parts when needed. In my opinion the laser really an expensive gimmic but since you already have it by all means take it out and use it. like billable said. The laser can really help you get confidence to start spraying. But you will just eventually turn it off, some customers get weird about the laser being pointed at them. You use this machine just like you would any other HVLP system. The laser is suspose to reduce the overspray down because it shows you exactly how far to be away from you client. But you can do this yourself. Do a loose "hang loose" sign and you have the distance you need to be away from your client. another idea is to tape a 4-6" zip tie to the front of your gun. simple but effective. Of course I would take it off when you are spraying an actual customer, but use on your practice subjects. If you are using more that 1 1/2 -2 oz of solution with this system you are doing it wrong. If you find you are using too much solution by all means call whoever you bought the system from. They really can save you a bunch of headache and money if you will just use them. You didn't just pay for the product you paid for thier help also. If you didn't get it from a distrubuter (ie E-Bay) please PM me and I will be happy to help in any way I can. As for the spray booth question just search the posts on this site and you will get all the info you need from purchasing one or a DIY one. |
