Lamp Advice

I am looking to replace the Heraeus Magic Sun 26' 160W lamps I have in my Sonnenbraune Silver Edition Bed. I have herd a lot about the 9k90 lamps from Cosomulux and was interested in ordering these for this bed. Are these lamps far superior than the Heraeus magic sun?

Also, in my VHR beds I have the Magic Sun 23 160W lamps and was wondering if i could also replace these with the 9k90's.

We have been running 9K90s 160w lamps in our Avantgarde for about 6 months. The results have been awesome. Our customers are very pleased with the results. The lamps that we replaced were California Tan VHR 160W.

Re: Lamp Advice

Big difference in how those 2 lamps deliver results. Talk to John at URI and he can explain the difference. If your customers like the kick of the "26's" they will not like the feel of the 9k90. Fair skin type 2's would love the 9k90 but they usually aren't you big bed users. Very simply 9k90's are made to deliver the results found in low UVB type High Pressure beds

Re: Lamp Advice

The Cosmolux 9k90s are absolutely the best lamp on the market for a 160w lamp. Lctire is right in the fact that they will deliver a lower amount of UVB, but that fact will also create a longer lasting, more bronze looking tan, which your customers will greatly appreciate. For some great deals on them visit lampsforlifeforless.com and enroll to get great savings. They are labeled as SunCapsule HPs, but are the exact same lamp as the Cosmolux 9k90s just privately labeled.

Re: Lamp Advice

I just relamped my 160W VHR with the 9k90s yesterday and we have only myself, an employee and 7 clients in it since then but...I was impressed. I did a 7 minute session(average time in this unit for my salon) and used a sticker to see my result and I was almost shocked how much color I got from that single 7 minute session. It is lower UVB and that is what I love about it. For me as a skintype IIIA, the result was bronze , and not hint of pink which is what a lot of my clients look for. I got a great deal through lamps4less which you can access through the Suncapsule website.
