Puretan Quantum 851 Wiring

Anyone have a wiring schematic they can send me for this stand-up? I bought the bed used and the internal wires for the remote timer connection had been pulled loose.

About halfway down the main wiring harness there is one empty set of contacts which appears to be the only place they could go. Thos contacts ohm out to the 24v relay, but I am still not sure how to connect it to a T-max.

When I manually hold the relay, the bed does work, so I think we are close.

Also, the manual dial timer had been removed so if anyone has the wiring for that would be great too.

I have sent a few emails to Puretan with no luck yet...

Did you ever receive a response to this or find it? I need the same thing.

I did get a portion of the wiring schematic if you still need it. I never did get anything for the manual dial but it isn't allowed in our state anyway. I just wanted that diagram for reference.

Thanks

We ended up replacing that bed, but I think my partner still has one somewhere in operation where they might need it. Can you fax or e-mail it? My e-mail is kbrandon@spencerfane.com and my fax is (402) 965-8601.

Thanks

I am looking for the wiring schematic for this bed. Some of the wires melted together and we have no idea which wires connect to what. Can someone direct me where to find one or has a copy they can email or fax? Thanks uptowntans@yahoo.com 866-385-3494-fax

No chance of getting that. Trace 'em out.

Re: Puretan Quantum 851 Wiring

The melted wires is one of the four that goes into the ballast box. Each side of the plug in is melted so its kinda difficult to trace...

Re: Puretan Quantum 851 Wiring

As long as they are not burned off and only the insulation is melted then you can separate them and bypass the plug using wire nuts. The wire is probably still in tact so you can trace it out.

Re: Puretan Quantum 851 Wiring

Best place to wire an interrupt?

All of a sudden this year, even though no new regulations have passed in our state, the last inspector is demanding an emergency cutoff switch inside of the stand-up.

Does anyone have input as to the best area to tie in?
