Rep Power: 0 | bulbs not working? I came across this search on the web; some guy was saying his philips tlk-4ow/10r bulbs in his bed weren't tanning. I could use these germicidal bulbs to develop photopolymers. could this be why he's not getting a tan? Maybe he would like to part with them... |

Rep Power: 57 | Re: bulbs not working? The uva & b content in those bulbs will do nearly nothing to tan a human. The 40w in the bulb definition stands for 40 watts. Not nearly enough energy being developed to tan with but might help in growing hemp. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: bulbs not working? I was serious about using them to develop photopolymers, the UVA strips electrons, which also helps promote skin cancer. Although I do find it a little humorous that this person would be sticking them in a tanning bed-must've gotten them for free. |
