is 800 watts too hot

I am looking for a face tanner a table top and i have found one that is 800 watts but i think thats a lttle high because most beds are 400 any suggestions?

Don't mess with mother nature. Unless you're armed with scientific knowledge. Stick with your local tanning professional, or become one. Good luck.

I have been tanning at the salon as well as at home for years i also worked in a tanning salon but we never did face tanners.

Most beds have several 400 watt facials. ex. 4 X 400 w = 1600 w

^^^ Agree^^^

The Sperti facial tanners come with an 800W facial lamp (certain models). Following the exposure schedule and you won't have a problem.
