Rep Power: 22 | Re: encore lamp question mikejones sez, the bottom lamps are long lamps and need a 180watt ballast. If they were powered by 160watt they'd be underpowered. Kinda like running a 160watt lamp on 140watt ballast. The bravo has 160/100watt setup.

Rep Power: 46 | Re: encore lamp question thanks i wasnt aware it had long lamps in the bench. i have a 2002 model and its got 160 top and bottom seems they wanted to get rid of the extra space in bench!

Rep Power: 22 | Re: encore lamp question The Bravo bottom lamps are almost AGAINST the acryllic and the 160180watt has like a 4inch gap for better air flow I believe. Also you'd probably ROAST is they were against the acryllic. I'd LOVE for them to do 180watt on top (over power the lamps) with vertical mount facials. Heartland was never really known for their powerful facial setups.
