The new SolGlass 170w F71 lamps are being tested around the country. The initial response has been a high pressure type result in a low pressure bed. What has the response been from your customers?

What kind of total UV readings are you getting and how do they compare to other lamps of similar wattage??

I am pretty new to this, but isn't that (high pressure performance from a low pressure lamp) what everyone says about the 9k90 as well?

YES, that is what people are saying about the 9K90's. BUT the SolGlass is supposed to allow more UVB than the 9K90's are putting out.

I am trying to lamp 3 sunstars with 30 bulbs. Can anyone give me some advice on lamps. I have the prem. bermuda golds in there now. They are good bulbs but we get very red and not all that brown from them. We are looking at the 9k90 and the Summer Sun from lightsource. I want something that will be really hot but turn to a golden brown. Any advice on these bulbs?

9K90 is a GREAT lamp! It won't turn you RED 1st though. LSI makes excellent lamps too. They have 3 lamps that will give a RED tint that will brown out later.

Red tint will brown you out later equals burn.

Redness = erythema = sun burning/skin damage = not good!
