Is anyone using the Velocity series beds? More specifically, the 924? If so, what are your thoughts? Any perticularly good or bad points? Very possably getting one in the next month and I'd like to know what to expect... Thanks.

Try it before you buy it.

LOOK at it before you buy it.. It is really cheap. There are latch fastners that hold on the acrylics from the backside. Not impressed with it.

Re: Velocity

I guess all the people that say bad stuff about Velocity 924 (the new Stand Up one) are put up by a competitor.

That's because there is ONLY one piece of velocity 924 in the US at the moment, and it is being tested by our distributor, so it is impossible thet the public can test it in the salons.

The producer

Re: Velocity

Yeah, I think people are confusing the model here. The 924 is the new Stand Up unit, right? The 918 is the one that looks like a triangle with the curved acrylic floating in the center.

My Velocity 918 will be arriving on Tuesday and I love it! I got GREAT color when I tanned in it. I've never heard anyone who actually owned this unit say a bad thing about it.

(I used Quick Reply for this post - I have no idea why it's not lined up with the other posts)

Re: Velocity

We have a Velocity 918 and people love it here. We haven't had any problems with people getting in our out of it either. Maybe the employees at these salons don't do their jobs and show people how to use the beds when they're new to it.

People always want what they don't have or can't get. If their tanning place had a Matrix they would say that it was crap, and the place down the road has a sunboard....just because tanning salon a doesn't have the sunboard the tanner, or employee automatically wants that unit.

If you look at my pics, I have posted one of the Velocity my salon.
