I am just starting out, and I am very curious as too whether a machine like the Mystic is truly worth the cost and the room space. What do you guys charge per seesion, and what do you find your "break even" point to be? I know $$ differ from each locale, just looking for an average.
Thx

I know for my market...the way that Mystic session prices have dropped dramatically...there is no way it would be worth my investment. Sunless sales counts for about $1 million in a $6 BILLION dollar industry. Not worth it to me in my market.

Agreed. The mystic is so expensive that it would take a long while for it to be profitable in alot of areas. Spraying by hand is way more economical and could be generating pure profit in a very short time. You just have to consider that you would either have to hire a spray tech., or hire someone to be at the salon so you can spray. Lots to consider.

I think that it is worth the investment. But again, it depends on your location and your market.

That statement was straight from Cal Tan at their training seminar that I attended last month. They seem to think it's accurate.
