We were originally going to go with some beds at 3 different levels from the Solaris line - but due to our limited square footage our rooms are going to be 8'x8' and 8'x9'.

The beds were 8 feet long themselves.

We are going to have room in our salon for 8 beds - and we hope to eventually buy out the lease of the adjacent location to double the size....but for now it is almost 1000 sq ft.

Now I'm thinking about using PC Marketing, and looking at their different beds.

Does anyone have a combination of beds they would mix from their offerings? I think we're going to start with 7 beds, and leave room for either a stand-up or a spray booth as we determine what our customers like best.

So...I'd love some recommended bed combos (names & quantities), assuming 3 levels of beds.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

We were still looking for locations - but had picked out beds in the meantime assuming we could fit them...but the space ended up quite a bit smaller than we were planning on.

I think my rooms are 8' long and I have all Tanses beds. The TX 44 has the longer bulbs but the bed is regular length I think. I'm gonna guess that our TX 52 room is 9w x 8l. I can try to remember to check tomorrow or you can see if the measurments are on their website. www.tanses.com

Since we're spamming all over our selves now, I bet you could get some Tan Americas in those rooms and save yourself some grief over the next three to five years. Good luck.

Hi Belvedere - I'm new here, so I'm not sure if you are saying I'm "spamming all over", or if that was in reference to something else....hopefully the latter. If my mention of specific units/companies was inappropriate, then I apologize, but I'm also confused because that's what I thought the purpose was of this place.

I am here looking for help - and appreciate any and all that comes my way. As we move into the business, and get some experience under our belt, I certainly hope to contribute here to the success of others as people are currently doing for me.

On that note - I'll take a look into Tan America

Thanks!!

I think he meant that everyone is throwing out a different line of beds when he says spamming. Don't worry.

Do you have the recommended room sizes from the manufacturer? Are your rooms already built?

spamming? complaining that a certain line of bed doesn't fit in a room is spamming. the only person that actually spammed was belvedere.

What do you call this Wheezie? I don't care if anyone spams the nemes of their favorite mfr or disty. In fact, I believe it's good to throw their names "out there" in these situations to stimulate discussion and feedback on what's out there. I'm beginning to notice an air of animosity that you seem to hold for me. What's your beef?

Sorry about that. No slam intended. "Spamming" is just a term everyone uses around here when members start tossing supplier names out exclusively. I was honestly offering you my favorite line, for many reasons, which I'll be glad to list, but don't take my word for it, unless you just automatically feel like my advice can be trusted. I'll help you however I can.
