I just bought a two year old hex unit with 323 hours on it. It doesn't tan well. Do I need to change all of the bulbs? Does anyone use a different bulb in the hex unit than what hex makes? Or.. is does it work with other lamps. What is the best tan in bulbs for the money for this unit??

Thanks!

I use the Light Sources Signature Series Plus lamps in my Hex II with a 12 minute session. Clients love the results from this booth.

Tammy,

Give John Hayes a call at URI his number is 800-247-3251. I have a Hex II as I mentioned above a John has always given me the best advice for lamp for that unit. Much better than the Smart Lamp.

There really aren't too many options in the FR74/VHO size. I do have a Signature Series VHOR FR74 that works well in the HexII units, New Technology makes a lamp also, not sure how well it holds up in that unit.

yah, I bought a brand new Hex last year, it still has only 50 hours on it. I dont think it tans too well. Has the original Smart lamps in it. I dont know what the deal is. Apparently my customers dont think it tans too well either, considering we've only put 50 hours on (and some of those are employees!)
