What is a ballast? My bulbs say T12F73-105w Gensis? Can I put a 120w in that bed? It is my 16 bud home unit.

Yes, you can run the 120w genesis in that bed. Don't worry about the ballasts. Only 16 lamps, though? You should think about upgrading your equipment.

52 lamps should do it for home use.

I know, I want a bigger one soooooooooooooo bad, even 24 to 28 bulb, but that darn hubby and new business, I want him to get on his feet, and know we are OK , then watch out.

You have a magnetic system ( a ballast that runs two lamps) you can put any F73/100w lamp in your unit. Forget about the 105 -120 watt CRAP!

If not, I have a pet rock I can sell you.

Sorry, Neon, but I have to disagree. I agree that you are vedy agreeable, but I've seen you disagree with things that I agreed with that others were not in agreement on. Wouldn't you agree?
