Can anyone offer advice, on good 160 watt bulbs, brands, where to get, or anything else?

Cosmedico VHR or VHRTT will work great in all 160 watt units. Check your compatibility if in a regulated state.

Yes, you are correct. The Cosmedico VHR has been a great lamp for years. They give awesome results. I'm not trying to push these lamps nor do I really try to sell them on this site. I have but I don't push them. I was just giving the my honest opionon on a good 160 watt lamp. And yes there are others out their that are good to but I prefer the Cosmedico VHR or VHR TT. And I really don't know a 160 watt unit that requires a reflector lamp that this unit doesn't perform well in. Anyway it was only my opion and no I wasn't pushing lamps.

Sarge, the Cosmedico lamps are good lamps without a question. How can you suggest a reflector lamp without knowing the facts, bed type, lamps currently in the unit, which state the salon is in, and other facts?
It sure sounds like you are pushing Cosmedico products regardless. Happy selling.

The vhrtt's & vhr's did not do well in our 160 watt 10 minute Ellipse. The ONLY thing that we have been happy with has been Light Sources Beach Sun 6.0

SLWTBOY. I understand what you are saying. Yes I know the requirements of beds, compatibility etc. I my second post I mentioned that if the unit requires a reflector lamp the the VHR would do fine and that I didn't know of a unit that it didn't perform well in. Anyway I didn't mean to start anything here if I did. I've been selling lamps for many years and I'm sorry if I came accross with not the correct information. Basically I didn't go into enough detail.
