Hello, I bought a wolff System Series II bed at a yard sale. It is very dusty. The owner had it stored in her garage for who knows how long. It didn't come with a manual, and I can't find a site that I could download one from. It is so dirty I need to take it apart and clean it REAL good. Or.....is it even worth it?? I found a date on it and it is 1985.....hummm..little to old? I really want to use it but not sure how to clean or even run it. Thank you for any info.

It is probably an old SCA bed. They run like champs!

Sure - why not try it?

Take a digital picture of it - then you can use this to send to a distributor to help you find parts/lamps. I'd try The Parts Warehouse - 888-999-8266 -- they are part of Heartland Tan Systems. And if you decide NOT to go through with it, they also sell used tanning beds that are already cleaned up and ready to go! (www.usedbed.com)

If you are lucky, you'll probably just have to replace the lamps (about $250), Acrylics (about $400) and a few lamp holders or fans ($5-100 each)

Good luck!

This is an SCA unit. Most of them, you can take all the lamps out, the reflectors and get to the inside of the unit. This well let you clean everything. The top I believe has screws all around the top of the bed, usually with little plastic caps on the screws. Lift it up and put a brace on it to clean as all the fan wires will still be plugged in. You can also take off the fan wires and take the top completly off to clean.
Just use warm water when cleaning the lamps. If you need parts I have them also. PM if you need additional information.

Warm wet rag. Also, if you want to clean this good, do what I explained in the previous post and you will clean it the correct way and get it all clean.
