I have a circe 33, I would like to take it home, but the apt is 110. other than re-wiring, can I take the bed home and use it?

If it requires 220V, then you'll need 220V. That means some wiring, or you can get ri of your electric stove or clothes dryer.

If you have a clothes dryer outlet in the apt, then you have 220v, which will actually be closer to 240v-250v, in which case you'll have to buck it down. If you don't have a dryer outlet, then I would say forget about it. Good luck.

It doesn't matter on your clothes dryer what your 220 voltage is going to be. Your 220 voltage will be determined by the transformer on your block to what you voltage is going to be. It could be 220,222,235,240 etc. Depending what amp panel you have in your apartment will determine if you have enough room to add the tanning bed. I have seen people use the same plug as the dryer but you can't run both at the same time. If you voltage is high, like 235 or 240 and above and you are the only one tanning in the unit, I wouldn't spend the money on a booster. If it was in a salon being used all day then yes. If you have any other questions, you can pm me and I will help you.

So, as long as the circuit amperage for the dryer outlet is compatible to the bed amperage, it would be all right to run the bed at 240-250v? Why do the mfrs bother putting voltage recommendations on the bed in the first place? Just curious.

250 is very high. Depending on the bed, for home use, using it once a day isn't really going to hurt the unit (most home units) or units without circuit boards. Running them all day, session after session yes. You will burn your lamps out much faster and over time some wiring. This is only my experience and suggestion. To be save, yes you can put on a transformer and buck it to about 225.
