We put 9k90's in one of our ergoline 600's and TT's in our other 600. My customers all fight over the bed with the 9k90's just bought all 9k90's for both 600's Friday. got them from Heartland for a great price.

darn, maybe i could have sold you mine for 1.00 apiece--since i threw all 36 in the dumpster with less than 100 hrs. on them--because customers did not like them. they prefered the TT's. or Signature.

SUN, if you really threw 9K90's away that had only 100 hours on them, why do you think you'll have enough sense to be profitable running a tanning salon?? I'm sorry but that's just STUPID!

ENGFANT - 9K90's reading 50-52 on a 5.0 when 100 hours, now reading 40 at 500 hours equals 20% loss already. Readings taken at 20-30 hours would have helped you set a more realistic baseline on these lamps. They were probably kicking out 55-57 on a 5.0 meter at that point.

They are likely close to 70% of their original output now, so time to change em' out.

Are the 9K90s the long ones?

I said IN THE 40s. Meaning 45+. Which is about 15-20 points HIGHER than a standard VHR (what the bed is tested for) at the same time. They are fine and OUT TAN EVERYTHING in town. Don't worry about me. Actually I plan on putting those lamps in another bed when I'm done with them in the big bed and squeeze another 300hrs out of them.

And they are behind frosted acryllics.

Is there any difference in your tanning if the bed has frosted acryllics or clear?
Sorry, but I am a newbie & trying to learn all of this.
