Rep Power: 23 | Delaney, If I were you and you need those answers....I have them all...And where I learned them was thru all my training and certifications from National Tanning Training Institute N.T.T.I. (thats where I have my airbrush and my tanning certificate) and then I was introduced to SMART TAN right after that and I am proud to say that my salon is a Member of Smart Tan and all of my clerks are also Smart Tan Certified...and they too...each and everyone can answer those questions..Also here in my County and in conjunction with the State of Florida...using the Smart Tan Skin Type Forms was the only way they (our health dept etc. and the State of FL) would let me over ride the recomended minutes on the units is if I were to skin Type each customer and then and only then could i put them in any unit for longer then the recomended time for the first time tan..(Gee how many customers would I have if they had to tan for 1 week at 3 minutes in one of my beds and 6 mins the next etc)...so thats how I got them to let me over ride that..I called Smart Tan and purhased several of the Skin Type tablets and stapled the copy of the FL Statutes to the back that is the same Statutes that is on my consent form and the State also requires they walk out of our salon with one also...so then i staple my half to the consent form and the other the customer takes...Please email me if I can be of further help...Have A Greaat Day!!! |

Rep Power: 107 | Skin typing not discussed? It's chapter 4 ~ Minimizing the Health Risks of Tanning? There should also be a sample of there Skin Type Analysis in that chapter. Did you use the Smart Tan Manual or the Tanning Dynamics manual? Me thinks you were playing hooky. |
