Rep Power: 23 | Most mfgrs say that 'normal' production variations in total uva+b output can be around 10% in the same lot.... more sometimes among different lots. Also, the ballasts driving some lamps in a bed can be stronger than others. You can try swapping 2 strong ones with two weak ones and see if the readings reverse. But generally that 'disparity' among same mfgr lamps is not a big concern. They are still 'good' until they drop off about 30% from new values. Take an 'average' reading in the middle of bed pointing up from lower acrylic... and track aging as an average rather than individual lamps. Check individual lamps for 'duds' that are already >30% down or are nearly dead. If you find one, swap it to another location just to make sure it's not a bed problem. |
