Rep Power: 21 | The buzzing sound could be from low voltage or chatter from the contacts. Odds are the relay needs to be replaced but I would confirm the voltage going to it just to be sure. All tanning beds have High and Low voltage as well as AC and DC circuits. I would think the relay is controlled by a DC power source, which controls a High AC voltage. I could be wrong but you need to confirm the voltages before you buy a new relay. The easiest way to confirm the voltage would be to compare the same circuit in a known good bed. Or if you’re feeling really adventurous you could swap the relay with another bed. If the problem follows the relay…..You got the answer you need…. Replace it! If the buzz stays with the bed… Your problem isn’t with that relay. |
