http://www.streetrod3.com/tan/IM000016.JPG) show what I am talking about(do i HAVE to have this box?). the one I have is damaged. I am trying to see about getting a new one or else alternate ways of connecting them to power (such as removing the special plug that goes to this box and putting a standard plug on?
appreciate your help/input/feedback on this idea

sure...gonna take a few days probably though
EDIT: I talked to the manufacturers tech support. They didnt have much on the 7000 series. Based on what I described the guy couldnt determine whether I was talking about a timer or a buck booster. He told me if it was a buck booster I should be okay to hardwire the booths to test em. I am going to hold off till I am sure what that box is though

Do you know who made the 7000? There is a company in Bryan Ohio that was making the Sunquest 5000 for ETS. Here is their website www.daavlin.com

from your pictures i think you should be able bypass this box.the box looks like a portable start/stop with a contactor in it.is that what it is?

it appears to be a something of that nature. The box is plugged into/wired into the main power and then it feeds through to the booths. There are 4 receptacles for the booths to plug into on the box, thus I assume that each box controls 2 booths. I will check it out further, though it is looking like friday or saturday before I can get to it. Tech support said I should be ok as long as check the line in with a voltmeter. I'll keep you guys posted on how what happens
