Rep Power: 0 | I have some beds I am trying to sell, in an unheated warehouse. (I am in detroit and it was only about 20 degrees). Anyhow when I finally got the electrical in the building modified so I could plug the beds in, The fans in them would come on but none of the bulbs would light. I am just curious if the cold weather may have had something to do with this, because the beds look in real good shape. |

Rep Power: 0 | I would think there would be enough power to run them, the circuit I put them on was a dedicated 220 volt. Unsure of the amperage though. biggest problem is the building I have them stored in is OLD. I'm not sure what the amperage was on the line (wiring indicated capacity for 50) and there is nothing else running on the circuit. I suppose it could be a power problem. I am just trying to eliminate the beds themselves as being the problem (seems to me at least some of the bulbs would have lit)? or is there maybe a fuse or something inside the beds? laydowns: sunquest pro 26 sx-2f beds and I have some sunquest 7000 standups but the control box is bad. any ideas on where I might come up with parts and information. Rep Power: 0 | the building is old enough it does not have breakers rather it has fuses. I pulled power off of a large cutoff swith. however couldnt really read the breakers. this plug is the only thing on the swith... just wondering if there is anything else that might cause the problems? _________________ [ This Message was edited by: jason1083 on 2005-01-15 17:34 ][ This Message was edited by: jason1083 on 2005-01-15 19:19 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | got to to get back to the buidling and check. The buiding is on the opposite side of the city, and I have to catch up with the guy who has keys to it, and go down there with him (it belongs to his brother so he wont part with the keys). based on the wiring coming in, it appears at least 50 amps....it has a 330 v input(on top of the fuses), but we are only using 2 of the hots on the output. part of problem is the fuse labels are kind of faded thats why I couldnt immediatelly tell. (I am very good at electrical work, just very unfamiliar with the specifics about the power requirments and so on for tanning beds) _________________ [ This Message was edited by: jason1083 on 2005-01-15 20:07 ] |
