HELP! HELP! - tanTALK

I am trying to figure out if I should be mad or not. I called NTS to reorder some new lamps for all of our 20 minute units...Puretan Tanscene 28's. These beds CAME STANDARD with Puretan s+ bulbs which are NON REFLECTOR. Well, just to make sure we get the right lamps NTS asks me to make sure the beds is a reflector bed. I go back and look and to my surprise NO! I had a non reflector lamp in a non reflector bed!!!! NTS almost had a heart attack when I told him that! I called Puretan and apparently there is no problem!! I am confused?!?!?!

The sticker on the bed says Puretan s+ or Spectalarium R+. Sounds to me like maybe they put the wrong bulbs in the beds??? but they say no. I have had alot of customers since we opened complained about not getting color but I thought they were just being whiny...we bought brand new beds with new lamps!!

I had a hard timing understanding that post. What you're saying is the bed itself has no reflector panels and it had lamps with no reflectors in them? So no reflecting going on at all?

Seems to me Puretan screwed up somewhere. Either they forget the reflector panels or they installed the wrong lamps. Unless they expect there will be enough reflection created by the bottom of the bed??

No. They made a mistake. You need reflector lamps. The End.
