Hi everyone,
I need to replace my Genesis 120W lamps in 2 of my Sundash 226 beds. My distributor recommended the Cosmedico 100W lamps. He said the ballist is what powers the lamps. Should I be sticking with the 120W lamps or will the 100W lamps work? I get really confused with lamps so if someone can help me out with this I would really appreciate it. The other lamps my distributor recommended was Dominion 100W lamps. If these both will work with my Sundash 226 beds, which is the better lamp?
Thanks so much, Tammy

Depending on the ballast in the unit. I believe they have whats called a power 120 ballast in this unit which I do not know if they do push 120watts. What is the maximum tanning time for your unit? That will also help you with your decision. Also if you are in a regulated state you will need to put a lamp that is compatible with you bed. PM me and I can help you with you questions. Jeff

The lamps are designed the same. There is no difference between the 100 watt lamp and the 120 watt. In fact cosmedico actually makes some genesis lamps and stamps the 120. They are the ESP 100 watt.

The 226 has a 1200 miliamp ballast as to where most 100w beds only have a 1000 miliamp stick with the 120w
