Rep Power: 0 | Hi, I am wondering if some of you good people out there could help me figure out what kind of bed I own. I have one bed purchase from a schoolmate in 1997, the date on the bed said 1995. I see no name on the front other than a address to Sonnen Braune. On the back I have the serial number and where the bed was purchased, which seems to be out of business. Does anyone know how to tell by the numbers. The problem is the bed is 16 bulbs and needing new ones the first question asked is what kind of bed do you have, Now I am wondering myself. Please help if you can. Thanks |

Rep Power: 0 | SonnenBraun is a great bed, and they are still very much in business! As far as further details, if there is nothing at all on it, you can call 800-829-6533 and ask for their number. They are in Ringgold, GA. Ask for Cindy. Like John said, you should be able to re-lamp it with just the info on the current bulbs - cinsidering they themselves are the proper ones for the bed in the first place. |

Rep Power: 0 | the most accurate way of getting the currect bulbs is open the bed and get all the info from off the ballast it will tell you there what bulbs the ballast will fire up then measure the bulb bed holders from socket too socket. with this info most bulb dealers can tell you what wattage bulb you need and the type ho / vho ect... make a note of the type bulb socket you have bi pen twist type / bi pen spring loaded ect... |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks, I really couldnt figure out if the bed was sonnen braune or if it was something else. This bed really looks like a generic form of something. It has no labels not very pretty. Seems to do good but the bulbs although not used alot, they are atleast 9 years old? The bed set in storage, I couldnt use but I know nothing about it other than I am not tanning good. So I figure its the bulbs. Do they go bad just sitting? Thanks so much for your great knowledge. |

Rep Power: 0 | the acrylics do go bad if stored in extreme climate change or under normal use i'd recomend changing bulbs first the take a uv rating with the acrylic off then another with it on if it shows alot of uv loss replace the acrylic also |
