I just purchased Suncapsule 220/hp ordered the 60 lamp but just wondering if should have gone with 50. Did any of you go with the 60 over the 50.

Did you by chance order teh new HP system they say that they have? I have the 50 bulb on that is not the new one only had it about a year am pretty happy with it. Not sure if one is better than the other cause the 50 unit is pretty tight on the person in it. If the tan is the same I would go with the 60 bulb unit for sure can anyone tell me a meter reading on a new 220 capsule with these new bulbs they are saying are like HP thanks alot

I just put in the 220 watt 50 lamp suncapsule in the middle of january. I like the unit a lot and it gives us a realy great tan. I have also tried the 60 Lamp version and they tan very simularly. In theory the 50 lamp unit should tan better because the lamps are closer in. However the trade off is that there isn't as much room in it. That is why we chose the 50 lamp version. However in tanning in the two I saw a very slight if any difference. I would say the 50 lamp version seemed slightly stronger but hardly noticable. As far as complaints of the 50 unit version being too small, we have recieved some complaints but very few. Most people like it. I think you can't go wrong either way. I also metered the unit and my highest reading was 60 w/ the 5.0 meter.

60 is the highest reading I got w/ brand new lamps. I was putting the light meter abount an inch from the lamp and 60 was only in certain spots. For the most part it was around 52-55. 45 seems a little low if you have the 220 watt. You may want to check your incoming voltage I have my voltage around 240 volts. If you are the 200watt version that may be why it is lower

60 lamp is better bet. can fit all your clients in them. The big pwople do not like the 50 lamp ones. The tan will be the same.
