I just took over a new salon that runs a couple Sundash 424s and am wondering if anyone has any tips on getting the acrylics out. The previous owner showed me his gentle method of unlocking the screws and prying it out with a screw driver. I figure that there must be an easier and less damaging way! Thanks.

I've serviced those before, and I think that is about the way to do it.

Pull out on the screw/pin and twist it to lock in place. Do NOT pry on the acrylic with a screwdriver! Use a Tandle, handle with the suction cups on the ends. Or something else with a suction cup to pull the acrylic. With the pins pulled up, the acrylic SHOULD slide enough to allow you to pull it over the opposite side lip.

tandles dont hold good enough when you have an acrylic that is jammed in there. Some of the sundash acrylics are different than they normally were so there for they dont fit properly and the only way to get them out then is to pry it out with a screwdriver.
