Rep Power: 0 | I AM NEW TO TANNING & HAVE DECIDED TO BUY A TABLE TOP MODEL FOR STARTERS. I AM TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN 2 MODELS WHCIH COST ABOUT $100. THEY USE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES & I NEED SOME HELP IN DECIDING . The Eurosolar uses small versions of the lamps used in tanning salons. There are four 15 watt fluorescent bulbs in the EuroSolar and the Sperti lamps use a single, more powerful 700 watt Mercury Vapor lamp. The Eurosolar generates 100% UV. Tanning is usually done for 1/2 hour at 2" The Sperti generates both UV (Approx 75%) and UVB (Approx 25%) Tanning is usually done for 10 minutes at 14" THANKS LOU LEDDAA |

Rep Power: 107 | I will assume you are talking about table top facial tanners. Whatever for home use, which I assume you are referring to, if not, and you are talking about salon use, tacky and unprofessional. |

Rep Power: 0 | This is off the subject, but oh well. I've been reading posts on this site for a long time now. I never post anything because I learn so much from reading. But the #1 thing I've learned is that "Neon Beach" is pretty negative. So someone wants to know about facial tanners, big deal. Tell them what they want to know! I started out visiting tanning salons as a teenager. Living about 45 miles away from the nearest bed, I bought a Sperti Del Sol with a tripod to help me keep up when I couldn't get to the salon. Now I own 8 salons across the state of Montana. Get negative on me Neon. I'd love to hear it. |

Rep Power: 107 | Now you own 8 salons? All this with the purchase of a 2 lamp kitchen table mounted facial tanner? Being such an innovater in the tanning industry why didn't you just buy a home bed? I only get negative when people come onto this site and ask about things that takes money out of my wallet. I'm trying to make a living here, and not a very good one at that. When people come onto this site and ask where they can buy lotions online, and where is the best place to buy a home unit, yah, I get a bit peeed. I'm not a consultant, I'm a salon owner who is trying to make a living to feed myself and my two ddaughters, so if I get upset when people as me how to side-step their local salons, I might be tempted to get ticked. |
