Rep Power: 0 | I am writing up plans for a tanning salon I will be opening in the near future, and I am currently in the market for tanning beds. Of most interest to me are the following brands/types: Tropical Rayz/Perfect Tan Do any of you have any knowledge/experience/input/information etc. regarding these tanning beds and the quality of them etc. Also, I am looking for the sunless tanning booths (i.e. Mystic Tan etc.) Any information/input about these would be helpful as well. Thank you for your assistance. |

Rep Power: 0 | Will serve well for a new upstart, but depends on demographics/competition etc. If your competition has any of the major players, you may not do as well. Local clientel would expext more if they are use to better. Smalltown, yes, major metro; No. Also, though no experience with either, I have read on these boards of complaints from owners/salons that had the Perfect Tan beds..the Trops are the same, just look different. So, you may want to ask the distributor for a list of customers, and do your research. For the money, I would go with Sontegra..you won't find a negative report on them anywhere. 100% satisfaction from the beds and company. www.sontegra.com |

Rep Power: 21 | Our salon has been open for 9 months now and we have three of the standard 20 minute beds and one upgraded wide body 15 minute bed plus the South Beach stand up unit. We have had nothing but compliments and many of the compitions clients have switched to us. We recently ordered another 20 minute bed and in the future will add about 12 more of these beds. We've experienced no problems with the units and do not have to move the bed to remove acrylics or change bulbs. Everything is accessible from the front. We researched beds for over a year and decided on these. Our customer care was excelent with the exception that the beds did show up about 2 week later than was originally promised. This could have been due to the fact that we waited until thier busy season to order. We experienced no problems with damage in shipping. Set up was possibly a little more difficult than some brands but only because they are a steel bed and required a few more people to unload, uncrate and carry in. Our customers also have commented on numerous occasions that these beds were more comfortable. I would suggest that you contact the company to see if a salon in your area has these so that you can check them out for yourself. |

Rep Power: 0 | I own ten of these beds. 5 of the 20 minute w/ 1 facial, 3 15 minute widebody w/3 facial, and 2 10 minute widebody w/ 4 facials. My clients love the beds. The customer service from the company was not the greatest, but I am very pleased with the beds. I love the steel construction! The acrylics are not the easiest to remove, however everything else is relatively easy. Ask the company for a list of other salons who have this equipment and call to get other opinions. That's what I did. I talked to ten other salon's and all were happy with their beds. Also, anytime I've needed any help on my beds, the company has always sent me a certified repairman at their cost. |
