Global: Do you know if they have a website I can check out. I have a chance to pick up a used 32 lamp w/2 facials for a descent price, but I'm not sure what they look like. I've seen a few pics online, but not sure if this model is the same. They look like they are very rounded and maybe a bit hard to get in and out of.

They are manufactured in Cocoa beach , Florida. They are made by American Quality Manufacturing.
They are all metal construction with the exception of the end caps which are plastic. These are a no frills entry level unit. There are 2 frame models. If you intend to use this unit in your salon make sure it is BF or big frame model. These are actually the same design as the Sunals of the late 90's. The newer models 2002 and newer have a metal retainig stip which holds the acylic in place {a nice feature} but never remove the screws compleatly or your chances of stripping them are very good. The pre-2002 models dont have this and the acylics are a little difficult to remove, usually you have to loosen the end caps with an allen wrench and then pry them out with a flat head screwdriver. Not the easiest system but it works. As far as other problems nothing to speak of. I have 4 of the 2000 models and 3 of the 2002 models. There are pictures of the units on tanningonline.com thanks Lilly White

Thanks Lily, I did see pics of these units on the site you mentioned. The bench seems very rounded and deep, are they difficult to get in and out of?

Neon, They are a little deep, the actual tanning surface is 29.5 inches the depth of the unit is 4.5 inches. Compare that to my 32 lamp Sundash beds which have an actual tanning surface of 30 inches and the depth at the center is 3.5 inches. Both tanning systems tan very well, some clients prefer the flatter surface of the sundashes while others feel the canopy is too close to them.In regards to the perfect tan units some clients say they feel a little crowded in these while others say they like how deep they are. Go figure? For this reason, I offer my clients 6 different types of entry level units including booths and the Legacy.
I offer 3 different varieties of VHR beds and booth. A high deinition tanning system with the Cyberdome 2, High Pressure bed and booth, and the Mystic Tan UV-Free booth. It hard to please everybody but I sure am gonna try. Why dont you e-mail me and give me the specs and price they quoated you and I will give you my opinion on purchasing this bed. thanks Lilly White
