Never heard of 4 phase. Normal electrical is Single or III phase.
III Ph is ran with 4 wires. 3 hots and a ground.

There is no such a thing as 4 phase in power transmision. There is 5 wire three phase though. 3 hots, 1 ground, and 1 neutral. Ergoline still, for some unknown reason, uses 5 wire 3 phase. Electical power engineers are sometimes concerned with harmonics when dealing with high loads, but that's a different topic.

(BTW, deficit/GNP is the only graph that means anything to an economist.)

Neither are anything a salon owner needs to be concerned with. That is, unless you're also the owner of the strip mall.

sorry guys i was just playing with you i know what 3 phase is and harmonics and eddy waves (they are usually generated in transformers especially when run in parallel which isnt a good idea if you arent an engineer )

Funny stuff here...we talking sound design or electricity? Harmonics relates to sound and components, the effects of a complex sound. Keep it basic...single phase and 3 phase...most commonly used in 3 wire and 4 wire setup. "N" is the standard and used as a hot leg in basic electricity...but then we have tanning beds! lol
