I (my fitness center) inherited an oldie but goodie tanning bed - A sunquest Super Q 28F, Manufactured around 1995. There is no manual for the bed. Our problem is this, the timer on the bed will show 00 when you start it, then the bed cuts off in 5-7 minutes. Sometimes it runs fine, sometimes not. Sometimes the top or bottem bulbs will not come on. We are in an unique situation, currently not allowed to replace the bed. Any one know where I might find a manual or help?

THanks!

Does this unit have the digital NL1 timer on the canopy of the unit. Say you are laying in the bed and you look up. Is the timer there? Should have a green start button. Jeff

Yes, that's the one. The facility maintainance guys have decided it must be a short in the timer combined with old age. Any clue for a source that might have a timer or manual? Thanks! Robin

I have the timer, they are around 175.00 each. Although is there and error code on the timer when you try to turn it on? It should display a 2 or 3 digit number. Sorry I won't see your answer until next Monday as I'm leaving for Nashville. Jeff

Also, it may only be a contactor/relay problem which that is only around 25.00 to replace. I can show you a way to check this although you will need someone with some electrical experience to do what I ask them to try. Jeff

Jeff, there is no error code, it either starts at 20 (sometimes 18) or OO. If you could tell me how to check the connector, my facility maintainance guy is great at electrical stuff! Have a great time in Nashville, I'm headed that way on Saturday. Robin

Jeff,

Could you please send me your contact info? Company name, address, phone # etc. I want to purchase that timer, but have to turn in a purchase request with all the info to get approval. You can fax it to 256/231-7624 att - Robin Brothers or email to robinb@teachfitness.com. Thanks!

Robin

You can call ETS and they will troubleshoot your problem over the phone. Then you can find out what their prices are for the parts. Then you can shop around for the best price. Good Luck!
Also you can download a manual for your bed

I have tried ETS, but they no longer manufacture the parts for the bed. My facility maintainance guys are at their wits end, They would love a manual if one could be found.
