It appears that the puretan bulbs that I wanted to run in my newly acquired Salon are not compatible.

Below I am going to list what bed has what bulbs, and what I wanted to use. I would like to get everyone’s opinion as to what bulbs I should run.

Bed Bulb # Bulbs I wanted

Sunvision Pro 28LX Eurobronze Magnifier Puretan S+, R+
7.0 F71T12/BL/BP

Solaris Speed 175 FR71T12/BL/BP Puretan R+

Solaris Plus 42 FR71T12/BL/BP Puretan R+

Sundome XL48 FR71T12/BL/BP/VHO Puretan 160 VHO R+

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To understand why I like Puretan so much, check out my testimonial on their web site (under Tanfastik)

http://www.puretan.net/Pages/Public/test_tanfastik.asp

[BTW] I am no longer a partner in Tanfastik.

Thanks,
-Tom

Wow, that did not copy well.

It should be Bed, Bulb type (current), What I wanted to use (Puretan)

The Sunvision Pro 28LX should read Eurobronze Magnifier 7.0, Puretan S+, R+

Basically I want to run Puretan's S+,R+ and 160VHO R+ bulbs, but can't. What would you recommend as a good results bulb? I am not as concerned with lamp life as I am results.

Here are some good strong, compatible replacements.
(LSI makes the lamps for Puretan, so you will be very pleased with these)
-Sunvision Pro28 = LSI Midday Sun
-Speed 175 = LSI Select 100W
-Solaris Plus = What was the original lamp? You could most likely use the LSI Select R.
-Sundome = LSI Signature Series Plus
