We have a new client, who is coming from a salon in Indiana. She is rather upset with her results, in comparison to her results from her previous salon.

She says that her old salon used "Grade A" bulbs - which NEVER burned you (she says it's not possible with those grade bulbs), but gave you a great color. She says that the bed was a 20 minute bed, but she would only go for 10 minutes about 2-3 times a week - and anything more than that would give her too much color!

Now, our beds are also 20 minute beds(3200 watts), but she has only been going 10-15 minutes - and NOT USING LOTION!! (Augh! That's a whole seperate story!)

I asked our Maintenance Men (we have a team who changes bulbs and deals with repairs), and they had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't mean facial vs. body bulbs - she meant different GRADES of bulbs.

Can anyone clue me in a little more?

thanks!

Yep .It is a Tanner who doesn't know what the H**l she 's talking about .(Probably was confusing tanning with egg picking.) Was BSed by the last salon place (called hype)& is now passing it on as gospel.

She may have been talking about the difference in the results that you get between the UVA and UVB percentages that is put out by different types of lamps, instead of "GRADE A" and "GRADE B"
