I have one bulb out in a bed. At first I thought it was the bulb, so I replaced it and it worked fine. Then after a time or two of running the bed it went again. So I thought ok, lets change the starter. When I changed the starter and put the new one in, it itself lit up like an X-mas tree. So I tried another and that worked fine. Now, again todat a client told me the bulb is out again.
Can someone explain to me what they think it might be. Thanks!!!

Could be a loose connect into the lamp holders.

Sounds like a loose wire to the socket or a faulty socket.

Speaking of a lamp holder, I have a few beds that have a bulb out all the time, its not the bulb or the starter - any ideas how to fix this?

If its a choke system, and only ONE lamp is out, its likely the lamp holder/socket or the wiring coming up to the socket from the ballast. Ballast themselves rarely fail, but poor connections with wiring are quite common.

moto-x-girl:

Possible wire crossed at the lamp sockets for another lamp. Call Larry McCauley at puretan. His contact number is 800/338-8267 X 234. He is very familar with this situation and he will assist you to fix your system. Advise his that Roger Brown asked you to call.
