Come on John, You're busting my back here! 30 minutes by yourself?? Give me a break!! Anything worth doing, is worth doing RIGHT. I believe the time I spent was necessary and I thought the time was appropriate. Tell me how you got behind those reflectors to vacuum out the dust back there?

The only problem that we have had so far is customers complaining that the acrylics were getting to hot. I called Exotic and they said the units we recieved did not have the right sides. They offered to ship the new vented ones tommorow. In the meen time i removed the sides and so far it seems to being doing the trick.
I would like to voice my opinion about Exotic.
I personaly have had no touble with them, and I am very demanding when i need or want something. When i call for assistance on something i expect to be able to get it, and if the person i am calling is not available i keep going until i get my questions answered. In other words i can be very annoying when i am on a mission. Only one time have i called there and not been able to speak to anyone immediately, however i recieved a return call within an hour. With the schedule i keep (80 - 100 hrs a week) I have been very greatful for the service and help I have recieved from Exotic, and there tolerance to my 1000 questions.

As for our Blue Dreams, we are pushing the 50 hour mark on them and will keep you posted as to there performance. I am curious though as to the size of rooms that the people having trouble are in? Ours are 9 x 8. Just wondered if that has anything to do with it.

Even though we have had a couple of problems with the beds we are very satisfied overall. We have recieved prompt attention and service on the problem that we have had. The customers love the looks of the beds and love the tan they get.

New Tanners, what sides are you referring to that need to be vented. I don't get the picture. What did they ship out in the 1st place?

I have four 32's and as far as I can tell they are not ventable. If your salon has them vented I would be interested in hearing how that was done. Anything that we can do to get that heat outside is a good thing.

The exhaust configuration on the Kern doesn't lend itself well to venting. I've had success venting Sundash and Sunsource beds but the Kern is not as convenient to do that.

The sides and front that came with our units were solid pieces, there is no way for the air to escape from underneath. The new sides and front piece are slotted to allow them to exaust into the room. The problem we were having was the benches getting to hot...taking the sides off has helped with that. So hopefully the new sides will have enough venting to avoid the buildup underneath. I should be picking the new ones up tommorow and can let you know more when i see them.

New Tanners, I would be VERY much interested in the NEW panels. If this is a upgrade by Dr. Kern to the Blue Dream, I will want the upgrade. I await your findings. My panels are solid, with no vent areas, and maybe the new louvered panels would be an improvement. I haven't noticed the bench getting all that hot though.....are you referring to the acrylic supports INSIDE the bench area, or the skirt panels around the bench leg supports?
Is the back of your bench enclosed or open? Are the cooling fans working properly, every one of them?
