Rep Power: 0 | I have a Dr. Kerns 42/4CX with less than 50 hours on it. One if the facial tanner bulbs is out. I'm new to this, so not sure how to handle the situation. Should I attempt to dismantle anything and figure it out myself? Call the vendor I purchased the bed through? Call Dr. Kerns? Since it is a bulb... do they just "burn out?" (especially after such low hours) Would this be considered a warranty defect or common wear and tear I should expect to pay for? Thanks, Chris |

Rep Power: 23 | Um this should be quit a simple fix, not sure why there should be any other thought, than calling the vendor and letting him know the bulb burned out. Seeing that your bed only has 50 hours after 4 MONTHS of having the bed in your salon do you think it is normal for the bulb to burn out??? actually I have told your employee about the burned out bulb a month ago, I think you should evaluate the staff and make sure they are trained properly. I think this matter should have been taken care of a long time ago. |

Rep Power: 0 | Michael, You should stand corrected. The bulb was out one day, and magically, started working again. It has not been burned out this entire time. I was just curious if this is common - and I should check any connections - before calling the vendor and wasting his time. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, but in the future, please keep it professional. Chris Caputo Key West Tanning |

Rep Power: 0 | Call your vendor! you should not be having any problems with you bed after only 50 hours. They should be able to find out the problem for you by talking to you over the telephone.I sell beds myself and would expect our customers to phone if there was a problem with any unit we sell, no matter how small the problem is. |

Rep Power: 23 | Wow someone is CRANKY !! Yes I would guess it is normal that a bulb should burn out after 50 hours????? come on lets think about it, you spend 6,000 on a bed and the bulbs last 50 hours sounds like a good deal. Ok you guys needed me to help you remove the acrylic from the bed, because it hasnt been cleaned in 4 months, but you are going to look and fix the wiring yourself. Come on lets get with it. lmao. Thank you wpgtanning, I had to agree that you should be able to call your vendor for any problem. Chris, please dont get upset when someone helps you out. You asked a question and you got an answere, remeber I have been in business alot longer than you.
