I have a few questions, and I apologize for my ignorance, I am learning....
I have an ETS(I know...you're all going AHHH! I didn't know anything and we were told these were awesome beds)anyway, I have an ETS Starpower with: 225R bulbs on the bottum, 315V5 R on the side and top, and facial and shoulder bulbs. The bed only has
376 hours on it and customers are already complaining. When should I switch the bulbs out, and how do I go about this? All at once, or a few at a time...and I need bulbs that are compatable with this bed, without going through ETS. Any one that could steer me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks, Tracy

Tracy, I too bought ETS beds because that was all I knew then. I have heard horror stories but they have done okay. I just won't buy them again because I know now that there is way better equipment out there. As far as replacement, I think ETS has us over a barrel when it comes to changing SPEED lamps. I don't think there are any compatibles listed. If someone knows differently, please let us know. I, too, would rather not do business there.

I think there might be a couple of compatable lamps....then again maybe not.
Call Wayne at TW...800-989-8267...he can tell you if there are any compatible lamos and if not they are a distributor for ETS lamps and can get you those lamps.

Check your voltage. Do you have a buck booster? The voltage need to be 230 at the bed. If it is low, output will suffer.

sunwest, if your clients are complaining, you likely need to change your lamps. BUT, the best way to anticipate and KNOW when to change your lamps is by measuring their output with a Solarmeter. If you are unfamiliar with these devices, there is plenty of discussion on this board on other threads. Check it out! There is some question about the compatiblity of lamps for the ETS Speed System beds. I would defer to the lamp specialists as mentioned by Mitzi above. Come on guys, heres a potential customer needing HELP.

I also have a StarPower ETS bed with less the 300 hours on it and it stinks I don't see any good results from the bed I have a 15 minute ETS bed which gives better color than the 12 minute StarPower. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about getting rid of it and getting something better. Customers complain they don't see much results.

If customers are complaining it's time to change the lamps.

Here are some compatible options.

For the Speed 325 VSR you can use the following: LSI Signature Series Plus & Cosmolux VHR TT

For the Speed 225R you can use: Philips Swift R, LSI Select R, LSI Morning Sun R, LSI Signature Series R, & Cosmedico VLR.
