Rep Power: 0 | You need a seriously need a plan (if you didn't have one in mind already) chech out the ITA website from there, look at the vender's list Look for equipment manufacturers & check out the websites of the ones that interest you. While looking at the various models, be keeping in mind what your competition in your area are have - don't let anyone fool you sometimes too much of a good thing is bad. *-* try out the equipment before you buy *-* Once you have itemized a list and you want some input on, come back & do a search on them. Look for what is said about Service after the sale, Support, - check on how many yrs. the company has been in the industry - that is a question you should ask eveyone you meet, salespeople especailly that way way you can get a feel for how much potential knowledge you can learn. Then, make a floor plan of the vendors you want to visit. Don't overwhelm youself at the show, you don't have to finalize anyting there. Take you time to get all the specific information you can, that is the purpose iform those who want knowledge. You can pick up catalogs at the booths so I recommend bring a tote for information you are collecting & a notepad (never trust you memory when speaking to multiple salespeople) Get a feel of the Rep. you are talking to (make sure he is ALSO listening to you, use the face time wisely. Mingle on the boards, that way you can meet up with some that are going & you guys network! Compare notes & brainstorm ideas. |
