i saw the Genious in Nashville. Impressive looking machine, but I think they are having technical problems. Not even sure if it will ever hit the market.

It is a machine where you actually walk in, lay down on the bed and the door closes. Or at least I think it closes. The unit I saw was for display purposes only.

Not worth the discussion. Genius was a stupid idea, never got made or delivered don't even know if the salons that put down deposits ever got all their money back. That's the problem with trying to be first... sometimes it works sometimes it dosen't.

What Genius did do though is introduce the North american market to the idea that you can charge as much as you like as long as the unit LOOKS GREAT.

Being a Tanner, if I saw this machine, I would definately want a 'ride!!!! lol
It looks AWESOME!, and there is a "mental" thing about the looks of the tanning beds and booths that we go in.

I don't think its a stupid idea, I think its just "new" and never before done, so since something is new and different, people say its stupid...

Bruce,

What happened to the people that put deposits on a Genius? Did they all get their money back?

It sure looked cool in the pics, but not quite as fit and finished IRL, from what I saw and heard.
