Alternatives for \"Speed\" lamps from ETS - tanTALK

It's time to re-lamp some ETS beds (!@?@)

Are there any good alternatives to the "Speed" lamps?

What speed lamp are you trying to replace?We have replacements for 175 205 225-R.

We need lamps for both a Star Power & Sun Star.

The Sun Star uses 205's on top, 175's on bottom. Can we top drop the 205's @ 400 hrs and just run 205's?

The Star Power has 315 VSR's on top and 225R's on bottom. No way to top drop, any way to even out the re-lamping? ie replace ever other one at 300 or 400 hrs?

For the Speed 175

Cosmolux Goldarium S Plus
Philips Swift

And Coming soon from Light Sources Inc.
Select & Select R
Compatible to all Speed Systems lamps.

For the Speed 325 VSR
The LSI Signature Series is compatible.

From personal experience, top dropping these lamps at 400 hours is not a good idea. They are pretty much shot at this point.

I hear of it quite often. But not sure how often it is practiced. Def. not a good thing to do. Use your common sense on this one folks.

There is a salon in town that regularly does this. I always know when they do because we get 'zebra people' coming in. WHY???????
