Rep Power: 24 | I have used VLR's and VLR-TT and heraus 20/100R and have seen no difference in tanning ability of the VLR'S and VLR-TT but the heraus 20/100 seems to be the better price and performance at least by the paying customers of my salon.I had some early burnouts of heraus 160's but the 100 watt lamps are holding good at 800 hours. |

Rep Power: 0 | Corvette, try the Heraeus #23/100 and it will actually tan better than the VHR !!!! The lamp makes for an incredible tanning session. I've got a stand-up that we just installed with Heraeus #23/100's and oh whata tan !! As to your complaints about the Heraeus 160 watt, I agree, there were problems with early burnouts on the #23's but less so on the #20's and very few on the #16's. BUT Heraeus, being the kind of company that they are, went back to the drawing board, found the mistakes and with this new batch they seemed to have solved all their problems... Try the new #23/160's... your customers will thank you. |

Rep Power: 0 | Sorry guys, I keep forgetting about those compatability issues in the US. Stay with the Heraeus #20's... almost as good. Or try the Rio reflector, also a great lamp but as John points out... check for compatability first.[ This Message was edited by: Mori on 2002-06-20 17:12 ] |
