Rep Power: 22 bsmart will become famous soon enough
just finished relamping my bed last night with Signature Series lamps from LSI. This bed is a 32 lamp version using 160W VHR lamps. It is powered by the Cosmolux 160 ballast and came with Cosmolux 160W VHR lamps. I recently metered them at about 27- 35 with the 5.0 solarmeter. I decided to try the Signature Series as a compatible and to bump the UVB up slightly ( 3.0 vs. 2.8 ). I metered them last night and was getting 42 - 52 UV !! 52 was near the center section and mid 30's near the ends of the bed. I'm very impressed with that UV output and can't wait to hear what my clients have to say about them. I think they are gonna love it!! Oh yeah, its a Tanses T32VH 10 minute bed.[ This Message was edited by: bsmart on 2002-05-21 12:32 ]

If the out put is now higher the sessions should be shorter.
Whats the issue with compliance?

Signature Series are compatible with the Cosmolux VHR. 10 minutes? I run those 15 in the TA 42-3.

Bsmart,
The Signature Series is compatible(paper work should be in box with lamps). That is common to get readings like that with the LSI
Signature Series.

All lamps will read lower at the ends, especially about 3" on each side is your lowest.
