Rep Power: 25 | I had flipped the lamps in my booth last Saturday & at the first of the week I noticed one lamp had gotten really black close to the end. I turned the unit on & the lamp didn't light up so I replaced it with a new one. This lamp is now black about 2 inches from the end & won't light up. What could cause this? ThankS! Ginger |

Rep Power: 25 | It's a bi-pin lamp. I don't think it's the lamp since it did the same thing with the one that was in it & I replaced with a new one & it blackened that lamp. I'll try swaping the lamp to see if it lights up. Thanks! Ginger |

Rep Power: 25 | I also had another problem when I relamped one of my beds. I started the bed to make sure all the lamps worked. After a couple of days, people started saying I had 2 lamps out of the bed. I thought they were just not turned right (bi-pin), but they didn't work at all. It wasn't just 2 lamps, but 3 lamps. I changed the lamps around & the lamps work, just not in those 3 slots. They are not next to each other. Any ideas on this one? Thanks again! Ginger |

Rep Power: 23 | If the lamp on your stand up is black on only one end, it is probably time to change your ballast. Also Check starters. What type of bed do you have? Sounds like bad ballast or loose wires. |

Rep Power: 25 | The bed is a Tanses 32. I talked to the Manufacturer & he said if they were 3 next to each other, he would say it was the ballast. But since they weren't, he didn't know what it could be unless it was the lamp holders. |

Rep Power: 25 | In my Sundazzler booth, the problem ended up being the starter. I didn't think it was that since it wasn't even trying to light the lamp with the orange at the end. On the Tanses, maybe it is a loose wire. When I relamped it I blew the dust out & possible loosened a wire & didn't realize it. Thanks for the help! Ginger |
