I am interested in getting any information on maybe comparing these two units, I have an ETS Sundome at the current time, and am not too happy with it. Would like to know if the HEX II would be a better choice, or maybe if i should just save my money, and wait to get a SUNCAPSULE. I can purchase a used Suncapsule with around 2000 hours that is 54 160 VHR BED, priced around 4K. Would this unit be comparable. The new unit i like is the CYCLONE by SUNCAPSULE, is it worth waiting and saving for? Thanks for all the input on people who have used or have both or all three units. Thanks

The Sundome runs very hot, but tans well.
The Hex uses Magnetic ballast & a private label lamp.(makes it hard to find compatible replacements.) The cyclone will out tan both units but it is not very roomy.(You have to be Ally McBeal size to be able to hold onto the straps.
Try looking at a standard 48 lamp Suncapsule w/VHR's it will cost around $9000 but well worth it. The cyclone is way more expensive and only cuts a minute off the time. And it eats lamps.

What about the starship standup ? I have tanned in this bed quite a few times and this booth gives the BEST COLOR EVER. It may be a little pricey but if you are in an area where people can spend lots of money (or your in the city) then I would suggest getting one.

I have both units in my salon, and I will tell that the HexII is better than the sundome, Sam at tansupply can fix you up with bulbs. Most of my clients prefer the Hex to the sundome

the starship and cycclone are the same machine, the starship is just a fancier look.

I just got my cyclone and is is doing wonderfully.

Save your money go with the cyclone.
