For those customers who have been stuck purchasing lamps from Puretan, Sun, and Tan America. We know have many compliant choices for you. Some are the exact same lamp and others are nice upgrades.

What the manufacturers want to tell salons is something else.

Are you trying to tell me that a sunlamp company MIGHT (1) make a huge production run of the identical sunlamp, (2) then later "label" them with different PL "names", and, (3) then stand by quietly while tanning salon owners are "told" that these sunlamps are all different for purposes of compliance?

How dumb do you think tanning salon owners ARE? Do you REALLY think we would fall for a B.S. line like that!

How dumb do you think the FDA and the state regulators ARE? Do you REALLY think that FDA and the states would stand idly by and let something like this happen?

Are you trying to tell me that sunbed manufacturers would, knowing the truth, tell us poor dumb tanning salon owners that their PL sunlamp was "unique"?

Too bad it's true!

Sad but true.
"I have a Unique blend of Phosphors"= BS
"I manufacture lamps out of my 8000 sqft facility" = BS
"We have propriatary Phosphor Blends made to our exact specs" = BS

Most of these guys don't even know how a lamp works, yet somehow they manage to produce them and with great marketing they can sell a few.
Stick with the real brand names and you can't go wrong.= Wolff Systems, LSI Aurora & Signature Series, Cosmedico, Philips & Voltarc.
If it says something else get out of the BED.

Manufacturing is where the money is at.. I am in the wrong Business!!
Smoozing and BSing is a full time job with some of the manufacturers of goo or otherwise!!
