Rep Power: 24 Chippp will become famous soon enough
We have had one or two lamps not work or burn out early like after 1 or 2 sessions, this is rare, any one have a bad experance with lamps.
It would be of interest if one brand is worse then they others on this.
Or is this a non issue with todays lamps?

We have salons call from time to time saying that a couple of lamps only lasted a day or so.Normally the lamp that does this has been damaged or is a leaker.Sometimes the end of the lamp where the seal is has a small imperfection when the lamp lights and heats up the area cracks and sucks in air, then the lamp lights a funny color and burns out.We actually strike all of the lamps we sell before shipping them to try to find the problems before the salon owner does. The problem is found more on interlectric lamps than most other brands

IT MUST BE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THOSE DARN BOOTHS I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING SOME BEDS BECAUSE MY BEDS HAVE NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM.IT MUST BE THOSE SPECIAL ONLY FOR BOOTH LAMPS YOU USE.HOPE THIS HELPS.

You sound like a fool!
Please stop embarrassing your self!
The 160 watt lamps used in booths for 20+ years are a more effective version of the cheaper lower watt lamp you are tanning people with in your for HOME designed tannings BEDS.
The cheaper lower wattage less effective lamps designed for home use, you are using in your salon ,are manufactored the same way and at the same companies your lamps are made.
Booth lamps are just more effective then your lower wattage home version lamps.
You should try to keep your mouth shut , every time you speak you show your lack of knowledge!
I feel sorry for the few clients you must have

YOU must have the same cheap 100 watt home tanning lamps in your home use tanning beds.
Your poor clients!

Don't envy me, try to make your salon a better place to tan as well.
The best salons only use 1500 ml uva lamps, not the cheap 800 ml home style lamps you use in your salon.
You made your bed now you have to lay in it!

HAHAHAHHA
